The
International Bureau of Special
Investigations is a non-profit Corporation that provides investigation
assistance and support services to individuals, government agencies,
businesses and non-profit organizations, at local, national and
international levels.
ABOUT OUR SERVICESIBSI
is not a private
detective agency, therefore, we limit our services to matters that help
prevent crime. In addition to our investigation services, we also
conduct criminal and civil background investigations.
OUR MISSION
(as described in our Articles of Incorporation)I. To
promote social welfare, to further the common good and general
welfare of the people of the United States, and of the countries
where this corporation operates.
II. To
provide multinational investigation assistance and support to any
and all Criminal Justice Agencies of the United States, and of the
foreign jurisdictions where this Corporation operates, in matters
involving crime, juvenile delinquency, domestic and foreign
terrorism, child abuse and neglect, missing persons, and in any and
all other matters of interest to criminal justice agencies.III. To
do any and all lawful activities which may be necessary, useful, or
desirable for the furtherance, accomplishment, fostering, or
attaining of the foregoing purposes, either directly or in
conjunction or cooperation with others, whether such others be
persons or organizations, firms, associations, trusts, institutions,
foundations, or government bureaus, departments or agencies.IV. All
of the foregoing purposes shall be exercised exclusively in such a
manner that the Corporation will qualify, or remain qualified, as an
tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal
Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future

ACLARATORY NOTE
IBSI
has not applied for Federal nor State tax exempt certification. Since
tax exemption serves to give credit to donors in the United States who
may want to support our work, our Board of Directors have decided to
apply for that exemption during the second quarter of the year 2010.
